The focus of the work of the doctor who has dealt with CMD (craniomandibular dysfunction) lies in combining conventional medicine with complementary approaches to achieve the best possible diagnosis and treatment for patients. A key aspect of this work is the use of modern digital technologies. For instance, the mobility of the condyles is recorded in three dimensions using tracing with the Cadiax4 system. This technology allows for the determination of the optimal position of the lower jaw in relation to the upper jaw by identifying the true individual hinge axis and the relation of the upper jaw to this axis in three coordinates. These precise measurements are crucial for both prosthetics and orthodontics and play a significant role in the treatment of jaw joint issues.
